How to Remove Obstacles From Your Life

I have been introduced to many different religions in my life and each one has made me into the person I am today.

In 2012, I was working at a terrible job. Every day I was anxious, every day was stressful. I would wake up with a knot in my stomach, I would work all day trying to ease the panic in my chest, I would cry my eyes out on my lunch break. It was terrible.

Then I was introduced to Lord Ganesha.

I should really say re-introduced. A year earlier, I had learned about Lord Ganesha when researching online. You see, I was living in a haunted house. Every day was terrifying, unsettling, and uncomfortable. I was trying to find ANYTHING that would help me cleanse my house.

And that was when I stumbled upon this video.

One by one all my obstacles disappeared, including the terrible job! I got a new job within a month, I was paid better, I was respected, I had a beautiful office with a window. It was a miracle.

This is 108 chants to Lord Ganesha. It is a great thing to put on in the morning or on your morning commute or in the evening before you go to sleep. Use this video when you need to remove obstacles from your life or when you are going through transition.

Who is Lord Ganesha?

Lord Ganesha is widely revered as the remover of obstacles, the patron of arts and sciences and the deva of intellect and wisdom. As the god of beginnings, he is honored at the start of rituals and ceremonies. Ganesha is also invoked as patron of letters and learning during writing sessions.”

The mantra is:

Om Gan Ganapataye Namo Namah
Shree Siddhi Vinayak Namo Namah
Ashtavinayak Namo Namah
Ganapati Bappa Moraya

The (loosely translated) meaning:

Om, salutations and praise to Lord Ganesha.
Respected, famous Who is spread in asunder.
Charming and sparkling in asunder.
Ganesh (Father), I bow to you.

Why 108 chants?

In Hinduism, 108 signifies the wholeness of the divinity, perfect totality. Deities names are often chanted 108 times with the assistance of mala beads. And finally, “the chakras are the intersections of energy lines, and there are said to be a total of 108 energy lines converging to form the heart chakra. One of them, sushumna leads to the crown chakra, and is said to be the path to self realization.”

How to use this video:

  1. Watch or listen to the full video and sometimes say out loud the mantra to Ganesh.
  2. Believe it! Believe that Ganesha is going to remove the obstacles from your life.
  3. Listen to the 108 chants video for 11 consecutive days.
  4. Watch as one by one your obstacles are removed. But don’t be shocked if something happens that is strange or even unwanted. For example, you and your boyfriend or girl friend might break up. You might think, what has this got to do with Lord Ganesh? Guess what? He or she might have been an obstacles. We might not always see our obstacles.

Good luck and namaste to you!

  1. I love this! I was introduced to Ganesha in Sedona AZ while one on one with a guide mediating in the desert rock I opened my eyes and expressed to my guide that I saw an elephant with a hat on in the rock. He smiled and replied that it was Ganesha and explained the meaning being it. It seemed to fit perfectly with what was happening in my life. I needed strength from Ganesha and he showed up for me.

Hi! I was looking for a translation and came across your blog here. I first met Ganesha when I read a short introduction to him and I immediately felt his presence. It was amazing, truly. I had this distinct impression of bubbles and childlike joy, and this ease of moving through things. I slowly stopped feeling this energy over the years and until recently I had never used mantras. Once I did though it just reopened that energy to me. Its amazing. I still get images when I work with Ganesha and have finally decided to commit to working with them long term. Ganesha is amazing <3
